  • The successful candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, and have a basic understanding of mathematics.
  • The machinist will work in a fast-paced environment, with a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to work as a team player, have accurate documentation skills and efficient interpersonal skills.
  • The position requires the ability to set up and adjust production machineries/tools, document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers.
  • The successful candidate will be required to set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools, and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
