Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor trailer to transport goods and materials across long distances, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the tractor trailer, reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including driver logs, bills of lading, and inspection reports.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a tractor trailer driver.
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Defensive Driving Course, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Forklift Operator Certification, Professional Driver Improvement Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
