Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Manager to lead our Radiology Department at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient care, quality, and safety in our Diagnostic Imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Radiology Department, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and objectives.
    • Lead and manage a team of professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
  • Quality and Patient Safety
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety in Diagnostic Imaging services.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives, making adjustments as needed.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and coordination of care.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage budgets for the Radiology Department, ensuring effective use of resources.
    • Monitor and analyze financial data to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to support staff growth and development.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance leadership and management skills.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role in Diagnostic Imaging or a related field.
  • Proven track record of improving quality, safety, and patient satisfaction in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
