    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of Diagnostic Imaging services to identify areas for improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards for quality and safety.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
    • Monitor and control costs to ensure financial sustainability.
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in Diagnostic Imaging.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Collaborate with other departments to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
  • Registered Technologist in Radiography or a Registered Medical Ultrasonographer currently registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) or the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital Radiology or Ultrasonography Department.
  • 3 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to meet operational requirements, including hours of work or on-call situations.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
