Job Title: Business Analyst

CB Canada is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in the investment sector. Our client is based in Montreal.


Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Collaborating with team members to gain a clear understanding of operational requirements during cloud migration (monitoring, alerts, documentation, etc.), conducting an inventory of existing processes, and working to improve these processes by proposing ideas to achieve them;

- Supporting operational activities, accompanying delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition of solutions between development and production environments to minimize their impact;

- Participating in implementation activities assigned to them and, if necessary, providing post-production support by working with delivery teams to ensure that they take charge of incidents assigned to them;

- Acting as a liaison between different delivery teams to coordinate the production of applications and new services;

- Accompanying teams in resolving technical issues;

- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of trends and new developments in technology;

- As a member of an operations team, the analyst may be required at any time to provide support to delivery teams to ensure they have a clear understanding of operational needs and what is expected of them;

- Analyzing the impact of implementing new solutions that could affect the proper functioning of production environments and have an impact on the company, and making recommendations to delivery teams as needed;

- Developing and implementing change management strategies to contribute to minimizing the impact on production environments.
