About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Officer to join our team at Stella's Circle. As a Housing Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families in need of housing assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure clients are receiving the necessary support
  • Develop and implement service delivery plans to meet the unique needs of our clients
  • Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services as needed
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in community service or social work
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) certification
  • Mental health first aid certification
  • First aid and CPR certification
