Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Fort St. John. As an Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical installations and inspections on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Review and verify electrical documentation and drawings
  • Collaborate with site superintendents and project engineers to ensure quality control measures are in place
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure their quality expectations are met

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Electrical and/or instrumentation certificate is an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years QA/QC experience on an industrial project
  • Must have previous electrical/instrumentation experience working within the Industrial Oil & Gas sector
  • Bluebeam, Navis Works, and Excel experience would be a asset
  • Ability to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
  • Must have a flexible work schedule - shift work, overtime, and weekends
  • Ability to travel would be considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven dedication to safety
  • Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 & Driving and Journey Management Certificates
