Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Northern Legendary Construction Ltd.

Job Description
  • This permanent role involves installing, replacing, and repairing electrical controls and panel boxes, as well as designing and constructing single-phase services for residential and commercial structures.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for splicing, joining, and connecting wires, testing and measuring voltage, loads, and ground faults, and determining the appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Installation and Maintenance: Install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems; install surface mount and/or overhead cables; renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.
  2. Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and isolate faults; replace or repair electrical components; test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  3. Planning and Estimation: Estimate costs and materials; read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications; interpret electrical code specifications.
  4. Supervision and Training: Supervise other workers; instruct apprentices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience; Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Professionalism in customer service; attention to detail; ability to work at heights; valid driver's license.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Conventional electrical devices; hand tools.
Salary and Benefits
