Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare and portion food items, including sandwiches, salads, and snacks, to meet customer demands.
  • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
