About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Property Finance team at Venterra Realty. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and optimizing key processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions, leveraging advanced Excel skills and data analysis techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to drive business results.
  • Analyze financial data to deliver actionable insights, using SQL to extract and interpret large datasets.
  • Review and recommend investor dividend payouts, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Work on high-impact initiatives, projects, and ad-hoc requests, demonstrating a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • CPA or CFA designation required.
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in financial modeling and analysis, with industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, including data extraction, interpretation, and presentation.
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools a strong asset.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to convey complex ideas in concise and digestible ways.
  • Attention to detail and discipline to build automated QA tests for ensuring accuracy of deliverables.
  • Natural curiosity and passion for digging into details, learning new skills, and improving processes.
