Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Canada Computers & Electronics. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring daily accounting transactions, assisting with budget and forecasting, and preparing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Transaction Management: Manage and monitor daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including preparing and analyzing financial models and reports.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Accountant or Financial Analyst.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP. Hands-on experience with accounting software, including Sage, NetSuite, and QuickBooks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Additional certification, such as CPA, is a plus.
