Project Coordinator Job Description

At Bird Construction Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the success of our projects by providing administrative support, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with project planning, coordination, and execution
  • Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Manage project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Provide administrative support to project managers and teams
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones
  • Assist with quality assurance and quality control
  • Participate in project meetings, site visits, and other project-related activities
Requirements:
  • Graduated from a Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management program within the last 24-months
  • Some experience in civil, construction, or project management would be an asset
  • Highly motivated and able to complete assignments with minimal direct supervision
  • Knowledge of standard health, safety, and environmental requirements and practices in the construction industry
  • Driver's license and able to operate a motor vehicle required
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
  • Effective and efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills; thoughtful, proactive, and creative
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to forge, grow, and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities, capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
