The Bridge Youth & Family Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing evidence-based and client-centered care to our program participants and community. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse/Psychiatric Nurse to join our team on a temporary part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of professional contact between Withdrawal Management Services, Transition Services, and potential participants.
- Work directly with participants, their families, and referral sources to determine care needs, medical history, physical and mental state, and any unique circumstances affecting care requirements.
- Book participant intakes, coordinate care requirements during their stay, and work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager to provide ongoing clinical and program supervision.
- Participate in agency initiatives, community committees, and contribute to the evaluation of all program employees.
- Competitive hourly rate of $44 with additional on-call compensation.

- Diploma or degree in nursing and registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a registered nurse (RN) or registered psychiatric nurse (RPN).
- 1-2 years of experience working in addiction and mental health (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience and well-developed skills in delivering telephone assessment and referral services to individuals, families, and communities with diverse and complex cultural, emotional, and social needs.
- Criminal record search in accordance with agency policy and ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
- Valid BC driver's license and use of a reliable vehicle.
