This is a unique opportunity to join the Manitoba Public Insurance team as a Strategic Talent Development Professional.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and a passion for driving business results through effective talent management strategies.

Job Description

This role involves partnering with leadership to understand business strategy and providing people solutions to drive business effectiveness and future workforce needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing on people strategies to meet business needs;
  • Supporting workforce analysis and planning to address workforce gaps and organizational design requirements;
  • Cooking, mentoring, and influencing client groups to drive organizational change;
  • Acting as the main HR contact on corporate projects;
  • Analyzing trends and metrics to develop solutions to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in a related area of study;
  • A Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation or commitment to obtain;
  • A minimum of 5 years' senior human resources experience in a variety of HR disciplines;
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and provide customer service;
  • Strong knowledge of best practice employment practices and human resources legislation;
  • Proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical ability;
  • Ability to influence, lead, and motivate others;
  • Strong business acumen and growth-mindset;
  • Exceptional communication skills.
