Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Director to join our team at Alberta Garage Builders LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the company.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • They will be responsible for co-ordinating administrative services, preparing annual budgets, and planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate administrative services including records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and plans for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits.
Supervision and Team Management
  • The successful candidate will supervise a team of 3-4 people and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • They will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the work of their team members.
Computer and Technology Skills
  • The ideal candidate should have strong computer and technology skills, particularly with MS Office software.
Work Environment and Conditions
  • The role will require working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • They will be required to work a regular 37.5 hours per week schedule.
Language and Work Term
  • The primary language of communication will be English.
  • The role is a permanent position with a work term of indefinite duration.
