About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plastics Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Paul's Paper. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Conduct work studies to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Production Planning: Assist in preparing production schedules, estimates, and reports to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training new employees and developing skills to ensure a high-performing team.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in plastics manufacturing or related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and production planning. Proficient in computer applications and networking hardware.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
