At AMEX, we're seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist II to join our Global Supplier Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategic analytic agendas, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and driving business outcomes through data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to unlock business insights and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, business stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure effective data integration and analytics capabilities.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to identify high-impact changes to business processes.
  • Develop and maintain key metrics and reporting to measure business performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Apply data science techniques to solve complex business problems and develop data-driven solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quantitative analytics, testing, and/or predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation methodologies, and data science techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.
