IT Project Manager III

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager III to lead large-scale complex projects and programs from inception to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and manage budgets, schedules, and resource plans to deliver high-quality projects.
- Act as a mentor within the PMO department and as a subject matter expert in IT project management methodology for the business.
- Manage large-scale projects and programs to successful completion.
- Work multiple projects simultaneously.
- Identify and align project objectives with company goals.
- Oversee strategic plan, monitoring and adapting as needed.
- Expertly create and manage all necessary documentation.
- Monitor, drive, and manage all aspects of project scope.
- Clearly communicate and manage project expectations to all stakeholders.
- Expertly facilitate all project-related meetings.
- Expertly manage projects in/via multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, POC, etc.).
- Participate in the development and evolution of PMO standards.
- 8 to 10+ years of experience with highly complex IT projects/programs from inception to completion.
- Master's Degree in IT Project Management, Business Analysis, or IT Leadership preferred; combination of relevant education and work experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Master's Certification in IT Project Management, Certified Scrum Master, or similar work experience is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the commercial aviation field or relatable experience.
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise network systems.
- 8+ years of experience in IT implementation, development, or complex process changes.
- Experience with providing leadership to business units for establishing technology direction and utilization.
- Specific proven experience with managing external vendor relationships as pertains to project delivery.
- Advanced knowledge of use case, business, business requirement, functional requirement, and user stories validation and management.
- Advanced knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, POC, Hybrid, Kanban, Scrum project management methodology.
- Expert-level knowledge of IT project management templates and software.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively set project management standards to specific requirements and unify project teams around those standards.
The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
