Indigenous Support Worker Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Indigenous Support Worker to join our team at the Sudbury Catholic District School Board. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of Indigenous students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to Indigenous students, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting cultural awareness and understanding.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Experience working with Indigenous students and communities an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
