Aerodrome Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerodrome Manager to join our team at Société de développement de la Baie-James. As an Aerodrome Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our airport facilities, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the operations of facilities and real estate to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Prepare and present reports and statistics to stakeholders
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend appropriate goods or services
  • Develop and implement plans to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure effective team management
  • Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal
  • Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods
