About the Role

BDO Canada is seeking a highly skilled Application Analyst to join our National Assurance & Accounting team. As an Application Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of applications within our assurance and accounting practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain templates and applications in MS Office, with a focus on accounting and audit-related tasks.
  • Design and test software, reports, and templates, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.
  • Provide exceptional user support, addressing questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the National Accounting and National Assurance departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for users and IT staff.
  • Prepare and update internal publications and guidance, including BDO Intranet postings.
  • Participate in other projects and tasks as required, contributing to the growth and success of BDO Canada.
What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of assurance and accounting principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, with the ability to learn software quickly.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset, but not required.
