Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

Hotel Lac Carling is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare your work cart with the necessary tools and supplies to ensure efficient room cleaning.
  • Prepare rooms for guest arrival by ensuring they are spotless and tidy.
  • Change bedding and remake beds with clean sheets to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Clean bathrooms and sanitary facilities using appropriate products to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Remove garbage and empty garbage cans to ensure optimum hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Clean and dust surfaces of furniture, mirrors, and windows to maintain a neat appearance.
  • Check furniture and equipment to ensure they are in good condition and working properly.
  • Report any irregularities in the condition of rooms to the relevant personnel.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeper to deal with lost and found items and return them to guests.
  • Adhere to hotel norms and standards in terms of hygiene and quality of service.
  • Perform any other related tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
Requirements:
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Autonomous and able to work independently.
  • Concern for a job well done and attention to detail.
  • Speed of execution and ability to work efficiently.
  • Honesty and integrity.
  • Sociability and ability to interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Good physical condition and ability to work standing up for long periods.
  • Availability to work weekends.
Education:

D.E.S. (High School Diploma) or equivalent.

Language:

French only. All other spoken languages are an asset.
