The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams in developing forward-thinking manufacturing strategies, identifying opportunities for process enhancement, cost reduction, and waste elimination using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and suppliers to drive collective success, mentoring junior engineers, and innovating cutting-edge manufacturing systems integration, data analytics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) with APEGA, and experience in the extrusion industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to coach and facilitate individually and at the team level are essential.
This role requires a visionary mindset, a global perspective, and a commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards. The successful candidate will work closely with employees and management, leading cross-functional teams of production, quality, safety, setup, maintenance, automation, and innovation.
