Job Summary

TPI Machine Ltd. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production, inventory, and quality assurance programs that drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement plant layouts and production facilities to optimize workflow and minimize waste
  • Conduct work measurement studies to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for increased productivity
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe working environment
  • Train employees on safety procedures and protocols
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure consistency and quality
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, and reports to support business decisions
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, operations management)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
