Risk Mitigation Specialist

Xpera Risk Mitigation and Investigation is seeking a highly skilled SIU Investigator to join our team in a part-time capacity.
About the Role:
The SIU department provides investigative services, technical expertise, and is a resource for clients nationally. Our vision is of world-class performance and technical expertise dedicated to the appropriate investigation consistent with the highest standards of professional, ethical, and legal conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth and specialized investigations beyond the scope of the client's in-house availability and expertise.
- Investigate files where fact-finding is required, ensuring a fair, objective, thorough, timely, and professional manner.
- Provide expert analysis and recommendations to clients, facilitating the resolution of meritorious matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of investigative experience in Regulatory, Workplace Investigations, Insurance Claims, and Theft Investigations.
- Post-secondary education or equivalency in training.
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new programs.
- Possess a valid Ontario Private Investigators license.
- Valid Driver's license; Reliable vehicle and clean driving record.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Precision and attention to detail.
- Active listening and summarizing evidence and analytical assessments.
- Preparing and conducting recorded interviews.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Above-average analytical and report writing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
