Kings County Honda is seeking a highly skilled and experienced automotive service technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to rectify these issues.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Evaluate the cost of parts and labor required to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, providing accurate estimates to customers.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, including routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding work performed, future repair requirements, and provide guidance on vehicle maintenance best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports to record problems and work performed, facilitating seamless communication between technicians and management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an automotive service environment, with a strong focus on hands-on repair and maintenance.
- Hold a valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
- Possess a valid driver's licence, with a clean driving record.
- Have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Display strong judgment, dependability, accuracy, and client focus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
