Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team at Ulka Digital Security Ltd. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Repair or replace defective telecommunications equipment and cables
  • Install, arrange, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware
  • Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults and analyze test results to adjust or repair switching systems, networks, and associated equipment
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures to install and maintain aerial and underground transmission systems
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets to ensure efficient communication networks
  • Determine work assignments and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure quality work
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for travel to work sites
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
