Job Title: Telecommunications Technician

SKYSIGNAL TELECOM LTD. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and networks. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work at heights, and have a strong understanding of computerized testing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair telecommunications equipment and networks
  • Install and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
  • Determine nature, cause, and location of trouble
  • Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights
  • Strong understanding of computerized testing systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of locations. The ability to work outdoors and at heights is essential.
