We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team at Bethany Sylvan Lake. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Resident-Centered Care: Provide personalized care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
- Documentation: Accurately document and report resident care and observations, collaborating with the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse as needed.
- Safety: Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to safety guidelines and practices, and demonstrating knowledge of emergency preparedness and response policies.
- Pro-active Learner: Embody the values of Bethany and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Team Work: Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate and change resident care needs.
- Grade 10 education and Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
- Previous Health Care Aide experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment
- Demonstrated ability to understand, speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
