We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Transportation Planner to join our team at Arcadis. As a technical leader in transportation modelling, you will play a key role in delivering sustainable solutions for clients across Canada.

About the Role
  • Lead and manage transportation studies, including supervising staff and overseeing project tasks.
  • Design, estimate, and apply travel demand models to inform strategic planning and infrastructure development.
  • Develop and implement data collection strategies to support travel demand forecasting.
  • Analyse and interpret complex data sets to inform decision-making.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality projects that meet their needs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in transportation model estimation and application.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, geography, economics, planning, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one travel demand modelling software package (Emme, Visum, TransCAD, Aimsun, CUBE).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
