Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including managing inventory, negotiating with suppliers, and addressing customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Team Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant, including supervising a team of 5-10 people.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, and reliability.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
