Horizon Health Network is seeking a dedicated Quality Patient Safety Consultant to drive excellence in patient care and safety.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of New Brunswickers. As a Quality Patient Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement and patient safety within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support activities to achieve and maintain accreditation status with Accreditation Canada.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and programs to enhance patient safety and care.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct and facilitate prospective and retrospective process reviews.
- Identify and use data to measure the effectiveness of quality of care and services provided to improve performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare quality and patient safety environment. You will also possess a bachelor's degree in a health-affiliated discipline and/or advanced training in a health-related field.
