Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at MBI I.T. Services. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance, monitoring, and testing of systems for multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Maintenance and Support
    • Perform continuous maintenance, monitoring, and testing of systems to prevent unnecessary downtime.
    • Identify and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Investigate problem areas and recommend enhancements and improvements.
    • Implement modifications to support end-users and ensure usage is consistent with industry standards.
  • Technical Support and Liaison
    • Liaise with third-party vendors for support, repairs, replacement, or modification of systems or services.
    • Provide technical support for existing and emerging in-court technologies, including video conferencing, electronic evidentiary display systems, and digital audio recording.
  • Equipment Installation and Configuration
    • Perform equipment installation, configuration, and testing.
    • Address technical troubleshooting for end-users.
  • Technical Requirements
    • Requires knowledge of various types of computer hardware, network topologies, and remote administration tools.
    • Must have experience with maintenance operations, testing, diagnostic software, data backup software, and recovery procedures.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in a Field Service Technician role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 7 and experience with Desktop Support, Laptops, Servers, Printers, Hardware Support, and iMac.
  • Good communication skills, customer-friendly, and adaptable.
Nice to Have
  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technologies.
  • CompTIA A+ certifications.
  • Cisco or Microsoft certifications.
Compensation

$28-30/hour
