We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst - BI to join our team at Belron Canada, a global leader in auto glass repair and replacement. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in understanding and documenting business processes and needs, and translating those needs into technical specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Intelligence, with experience in developing BI solutions in Microsoft environments (SQLServer, SSIS, PowerBI, Azure). You will work closely with business teams and technical teams to design and deploy effective BI solutions, and will be responsible for analyzing, proposing solutions, and contributing to resolving BI-related issues.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Analyzing and documenting existing business processes and BI needs.
  2. Defining and writing documentation deliverables, such as Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), and other relevant documents.
  3. Actively contributing to writing the Technical Requirements Document (TRD).
  4. Analyzing and proposing solutions to BI-related issues.
  5. Modeling and documenting business processes and procedures.
  6. Participating in the collection and analysis of data necessary for defining and evolving our BI products.
  7. Managing the demand process from needs definition to change implementation, including functional analysis and testing.
  8. Actively participating in planning and prioritizing initiatives, activities, and projects in Business Intelligence.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
  2. 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence.
  3. 3 to 6 years of professional experience in BI business analysis.
  4. Mastery of data warehousing modeling as well as ETL and DataLake concepts.
  5. Experience in developing BI solutions in Microsoft environments (SQLServer, SSIS, PowerBI, Azure).
  6. Knowledge of the DevOps approach.
  7. Previous experience in a Scrum team for structuring BI projects.
