About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Director to join our team in North York. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial planning and analysis of our investments, as well as supporting the growth and development of our portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and analyses to inform investment decisions and drive business growth.
  • Investment Support: Collaborate with our investment team to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and providing financial analysis to support deal execution.
  • Portfolio Company Support: Provide strategic financial guidance and support to our portfolio companies, working closely with their management teams to drive growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives across the organization, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
