About This Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive health services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in our community
  • Support the Dalhousie Family Medicine Residency program and contribute to the education and training of future physicians
  • Participate in urgent care rotations and provide after-hours access and emergency coverage as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and continuum of patient care
  • Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority
  • Contribute to quality improvement and evaluation activities to enhance patient care and outcomes
Expected Hours
  • Full-time or part-time opportunities available
Qualifications
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
  • Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
