Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse RPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at RT Medical. As an RPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in various settings, including long-term care facilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized care to patients with diverse needs and conditions
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Advocating for patient rights and promoting a safe and respectful environment
  • Traveling to patients' homes and other settings to provide care and support
  • Performing clinical duties, including wound care, IV medications, and re-sites
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a diploma from a recognized RPN program or equivalent
  • Be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Have experience as a visiting nurse or community nurse (an asset)
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting
  • Hold valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
  • Have updated immunization records and a clear criminal background check
