Registered Practical Nurse RPN

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at RT Medical. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, IV medications, and re-sites, catheter care, compression/VAC, and ostomy care.
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Travel to patients' homes, clinics, retirement homes, or schools to provide care and support.
- Delegate tasks as required within your scope of practice.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Diploma from a recognized RPN program or equivalent.
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
- Updated immunization records, including a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months.
- Clear criminal background checks and Vulnerable sector checks.
- Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful, and courteous manner.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and crisis-resolution skills.
- Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable car.
