Job Summary

Concept Pro-Métal is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, reading blueprints, and operating CADD and other computer software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to estimate project costs
  • Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction, and other projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure accurate and timely estimates
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
