Job Title: Construction Estimator

Concept Pro-Métal is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction and other projects
  • Estimate cost of projects
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours
