About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in their care. They will work closely with our early childhood educators to implement programs that meet the unique needs and interests of each child.

This role requires a strong commitment to building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and provide excellent support to children with diverse needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that promote learning and development
  • Assisting early childhood educators in carrying out daily routines and activities
  • Leading activities such as storytelling, singing, and educational games
  • Supervising staff, trainees, or volunteers as needed

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to:

  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to children's care and development
