About the Role

Vancouver Bullion & Currency Exchange is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail FX Trader to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for originating new business with new and existing clients, while providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a rolling 3-to-6-month sales plan to achieve sales targets for foreign currency products and services.
  • Carry out Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Monitor live rates for clients, providing real-time market updates and analysis.
  • Problem-solve inquiries and suggest the most appropriate solutions and best service options for clients.
  • Drive sales success, providing professional quality service to clients and accepting purchase/sale orders in a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Resolve issues and report any discrepancies to the supervisor/director.
  • Provide input to the development and achievement of team objectives.
Requirements
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of foreign currency products and services.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Sales oriented, with the ability to develop a plan to prospect for new business and execute.
  • A book of business already established, with a proven track record of success.
  • Prepared to research and develop industry vertical contacts, participating in networking and trade show events.
  • Goal and achievement orientated, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional telephone and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Resourceful, patient, and resilient, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility with schedule, hours, and locations, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
What We Offer

Vancouver Bullion & Currency Exchange offers a competitive salary range of $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
