About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at United Rentals. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for leasing and selling storage products, ground level offices, mobile offices, modular buildings, liquid storage tanks, and ancillary products to customers in a defined geographical territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize Revenue: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in your assigned territory.

  • Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and their subsidiary companies, acting as a single point of contact for their needs.

  • Prospect and Qualify New Accounts: Identify and qualify new accounts from existing accounts, dormant or non-customer accounts, including competitor accounts.

  • Cross-Selling Opportunities: Collaborate with specialty division representatives to promote cross-selling to accounts wherever possible.

  • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales action plans and strategies to achieve sales targets.

  • Presentation and Communication: Develop and deliver presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.

  • CRM Utilization: Utilize Sales Force.com and other CRM tools to develop a pipeline of opportunities and monitor sales performance.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development to stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Three years of sales experience.

  • Skills: Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of construction or related equipment.

  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

We offer a competitive base salary and monthly commissions based on performance. A minimum monthly guarantee incentive is provided during the onboarding and learning process. This role is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
