Senior Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our team at FortisBC. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to our team members, ensuring the effective management of corporate critical application support activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide mentorship and technical advice to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the management of employee development and training programs.
- Communicate effectively with users, co-workers, and management to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Provide technical and functional expertise on a wide range of applications, including SAP, CIS, GIS, MWFM, AMI, and CMS.
- Analyze and respond to complex incidents, problem reports, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Develop software code and design specifications for bug fixes, maintenance releases, and enhancements.
- 2-year Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8 years' related work experience.
- Competency in managing medium to large projects.
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers.
