Senior Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our team at FortisBC. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to our team members, ensuring the effective management of corporate critical application support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and technical advice to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to manage their individual corporate critical application support activities.
- Assist in the management of employee development for their respective group.
- Communicate effectively with users, co-workers, and management to ensure professional competence.
- Provide technical expertise on a wide range of strategic, financial, regulatory, safety, and reputational impactful applications.
- Analyze and respond to complex incidents, problem reports, and inquiries in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- 2-year Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8 years' related work experience.
- Competency in managing medium to large projects.
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Immediate knowledge of data center technologies, virtualization, storage, backup, networking, security, and related supporting infrastructure.
