Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Alberta Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality service and food presentation
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and maintain accurate records
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. You will be on your feet for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Physical demands include standing, bending, crouching, and walking.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
