Assembly Technician

Job Summary
ALSTOM is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing production tasks as planned by the department, including the assembly of train components onto the train car body.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform production tasks as planned by the department, including the assembly of train components onto the train car body.
- Installation of internal components (sub-assembled) onto the train car body.
- Comply with EH&S rules and safe working procedures at all times.
- Clean and maintain working areas and production equipment.
- Set up production equipment: workstation, test benches, inspection tools, warehouse equipment.
- Respect task time and quality level assigned by operating instructions, methods process, and MRP routing.
- Identify parts as required by the operating instructions prior to installations.
- Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
- Handle, store goods and raw materials in the factory or the warehouse.
- Alert Team Leadership on process drift or quality problems.
- Complete tally sheet on the MRP tool if requested by the Team leader.
- Pack goods ready for shipment in crates or other containers.
- Respect ESD rules for electronics devices production.
Requirements
- More than 2 years of experience in Industrial or Manufacturing units, on electronics, electrical, or mechanical devices.
- Experienced operator in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical settings.
