About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Visiting Homemaker to join our team at Bernard Zitsow. As a Visiting Homemaker, you will provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in activities that promote social interaction.
  • Household Assistance: Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Accompany clients on walks and assist with regular exercise routines.
  • Medication Reminders: Assist clients with taking their medications as prescribed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, working in the employer's/client's home.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check is required.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
