Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Recreation and Cultural Programs Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will plan and implement program content, instruct, coach, or coordinate intermediate sport programs. You must have at least 1 year of demonstrated experience in a sport specialty area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement program content for intermediate sport programs
- Instruct, coach, or coordinate programs as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a fun and safe environment
- Develop and maintain relationships with program participants and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies, Sports Management, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a sport specialty area
- Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications
- AODA Customer Service/IASR Training
- Appropriate certification in the relevant recreation/sports program
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with up to 24 hours per week, including various shifts such as days, evenings, and weekends. You will work independently or as part of a team to achieve program goals.
Salary:
$25-$35 per hour (estimated annual salary: $52,000 - $72,000)
