We have an exciting opportunity as a Manufacturing Engineer at our Edmonton plant in Alberta. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and foster continuous improvement.

A Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role in optimizing production processes, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of quality. Key responsibilities include leading teams in developing forward-thinking manufacturing strategies, identifying opportunities for process enhancement, and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) with APEGA, and experience in tool design, fabrication, machining, and welding methods. Proficiency in data analytics, predictive modeling, and change leadership is also essential.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functionally. The employee will work closely with employees and management, leading cross-functional teams of production, quality, safety, setup, maintenance, automation, and innovation.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $90,000 and $120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

As a key member of the IPEX team, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing stringent quality control measures, driving initiatives aimed at achieving zero defects, and championing sustainability practices. They will also collaborate with suppliers and contractors to drive collective success.
